As one of the premiere Hip-Hop/Electro/TOP 40 DJs worldwide, it is no wonder J-NICE has set a new pace for the music and entertainment industry that can’t be touched. Not only has he set the bar ranking as one of the #1 DJs in the country; he has also maintained the top DJ spot in Atlanta 7 years running and most recently put his influential thumbprint on the Las Vegas entertainment scene.
Already known for his current and classic DJ styles, J-NICE has also been a force to be reckoned with behind the scenes. Responsible for founding some of the hottest DJ crews to step foot out of the southeast most notably “Superfriends” and “The Hittmenn DJs”, which include members such as Atlanta radio personality Frank Ski and musician Lil Jon. As a DJ and producer, he makes music that brings crowds to some of the largest venues around the world and has maintained over a 1 million listeners a year. He was even dubbed by The DJ Times in 2000 as the “Evangelist of the Entertainment Industry Culture” due to his leadership forefront.
J-NICE’s solid reputation as a highly respected DJ earned him the consulting position in 2001 with the hottest nightclub in the southeast, Galardi South – owner of “The World Famous Club 112” – where he advised the corporation on virtually every business level to maintain their world –renowned status. This invaluable experience opened the door for J-NICE to endorse deals ranging from the “100 Black Mend of America” college tour to becoming the “Official DJ to the Celebrities” touring with the likes of Ludacris, P. Diddy, Notorious B.I.G., Dru Hill, Blackstreet, Black Rob, Queen Pen, Shaquille O’Neal and many more.
Not only has J-NICE brought his expertise as an artist, but he has proven to be a highly respected promoter and entrepreneur by the most influential people in the business. From 2001-2004 he signed on to a dual role as DJ and promoter for Deja34 Enterprises, an entertainment company and record label financed by NBA All-Star, Shaquille O’Neal.
His promotional skills instantly jumped off which lead him to a reoccurring position as the promoter for Emerge International’s NFL Players’ Gala – a sanctioned event held annually during the Super Bowl. His talent has also allowed him coordinate performances for multiple NBA All-Star Week events including 2009’s in Phoenix. Along with being the host every year for one of the hottest Halloween events in the country, “The Annual Scorpio Halloween Bash” in Atlanta where in the first two years he attracted 8,000 attendees and celebrities like Busta Rhymes, P. Diddy, Outkast, TLC, Ludacris, Brian McKnight, R. Kelly and Lil’ Kim to name a few.
J-Nice leads one of the industry’s significant street marketing powerhouses, Goodlife Entertainment, where he has collaborated with Dulo Marketing & Media and The Hittmenn DJs to provide management to 19 DJs, 6 producers, 2 writers, and 2 artists. His continued involvement with all three companies has transformed his professional objective into a current marketing approach for today’s trendsetting urban audience. As a DJ and entertainment entrepreneur it is no surprise that in early 2011, J-NICE decided to try his hand as a solo artist and started working on his first album. With his mix of Electro-House and Hip-Hop there is no doubt that J-NICE will continue to stay one step ahead of the game with the new project set to release early 2012.
